4th of July – America’s Birthday- my birthday- and a great excuse to camp out at a lake and do nothing significant all weekend.
This year – end of my 54th – finds us at West Point Lake, Georgia camping out with friends and just taking in some nature. Lake water is 88 deg F and the sun is pretty much relentless.

It’s a 2008 Shelby Cobra GT500 – 5.4L supercharged Ford SVT creation that my lovely wife actually found used for me in 2016. It has been my daily drive, and made only two significant road trips to date – a weekend jaunt to St Augustine in 2017, and Charleston, SC last year.
